「 」

Dear Gracia,

Can you imagine a jug of water filled with words?
Did you think it would look like this?
I fold myself up in a sentence or two, & hope by the time this reaches you, I am clean.
Without you, I'd never bring myself out of filth.

Cuneiform is "Wedge" and "Form"; this is an oldgrowth jug, holding even older water.
In its clay, a style, the way I dig my heels into the earth, adjusting a swing tieーsorry excuse for silk.
Other things breed in the spaces between the droplets, beyond conveyence & far beyond intention.
The era where water splays people apart is long gone. You may be down the street, or in some hamlet. It's because of these words I can understand just how far we are apart.
What a shame, that we can't just be born again somehow, isn't it?

As Ever,
「 」
